Overview
Playfolio helps you save and organize activity ideas for your family. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and how you can request deletion.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Playfolio, we may collect:
- Account information, such as your email address and authentication provider user ID.
- Saved activity content, including titles, descriptions, materials, steps, notes, collections, favorites, source URLs, and thumbnails.
- Images you choose to import for activity parsing.
- Basic technical information needed to operate authentication, syncing, and import features.
- Website analytics information, such as page views, referral source, approximate device/browser details, and App Store link clicks.
How We Use Information
We use this information to provide the app, sync your saved activities, import activity details from links or images, maintain account access, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
Third-Party Services
Playfolio uses service providers to operate key features:
- Supabase for authentication, database storage, file storage, and server-side functions.
- Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In for authentication.
- Anthropic for parsing activity information from webpages or images you choose to import.
- Supadata or similar transcript services for YouTube transcript retrieval when you import YouTube content.
- Google Analytics for website traffic measurement and App Store link click analytics.
Camera and Photo Access
Playfolio only accesses photos or camera input when you choose to import an image. Images are used to generate an activity draft and may be sent to server-side services for processing.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate Playfolio, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or with your direction.
Data Retention
We retain account and saved activity data while your account is active or as needed to provide the app. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Children's Privacy
Playfolio is intended for parents and caregivers. It is not intended for children to create accounts directly. Please avoid saving sensitive personal information about children in notes or activity content.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Choices
You can edit or delete saved activities in the app. You can also request account and data deletion from the delete account page.
